My name is Deborah. I am a licenced and registered primary healthcare practitioner. As such, I diagnose according to primary medicine protocols, such as medical exams and sending for blood tests. My scope of practice is homeopathy and complementary medicine. I enjoy taking on all types of cases but I have a special place in my heart for women’s health, children’s learning difficulties, and emotional wellbeing, including anxiety and depression. Above all, my purpose is to treat those who have been told that ‘there is nothing wrong’ and ‘there is nothing more we can do for you’. There is always a root cause. I am committed to finding it and working out a treatment plan that is unique to you and respects your wallet.
I have been in practice in Pietermaritzburg for the last 7 years. Twice a month I also work at Khula Natural Health Centre (www.khula.org), an
NGO rural health clinic providing homeopathic healthcare to the rural community of Northern KZN. I moved to Hillcrest 2 years ago with my husband and my 3 beautiful dogs and am loving making this my home.
I am also currently completing my honours in Psychology (Unisa). This speaks to the love I have for emotional wellbeing.
